HAVE YOU ALWAYS BEEN INTO SPORTS? IF SO WHAT DID YOU PLAY, EVENTS YOU DONE, FITNESS ROUTINES YOU HAVE TRIED?
Yes, I grew up playing football, running track, and Motorcross in high school, and water skiing all my lift. I have tried typical gym’s, running and working out at home.
BIGGEST CF ACCOMPLISHMENT?
Walking in the door for the first time! Now every PR (personal record) is a big accomplishment. No matter how big or small everyone is right there to cheer you on. Getting my bar muscle up was a pretty big accomplishment for me too!
CF GOAL FOR THE FUTURE?
Hard to say, it’s a continuous growth, I would like to compete in the future. My immediate goal is ring muscle up’s. My overall goal is to be the best athlete possible.
FAVORITE PAST TIME?
Going to the lake, wakeboarding and honestly CrossFit is now on the top of my list.
FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?
Mexican food (chips and salsa) or Pizza
WHAT WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE WHO IS SCARED TO TRY CROSS FIT?
Don’t be… I was scared for years and once I tried it, I was hooked. We have all seen it and thought “I can’t do that”, or at least I sure did. Once I got in the door I realized it didn’t matter what weight you could lift or how far you could run, it was all about learning and reaching new levels you never thought possible. The coaches and other athletes are awesome, ready to show you step by step, no matter what level you are currently and how to be better. I personally had reached a plateau doing my own thing and in less that a year I can see a big difference, and so can my friends and family. I know with the help of my CrossFit family I am just getting started, and I say family because that’s how you feel, like one big Family, willing to help, willing to push you, but right there to support you when you need it most and that doesn’t stop when the workout is over…
It is so much more than I ever expected!
