HAVE YOU ALWAYS BEEN INTO SPORTS? IF SO WHAT DID YOU PLAY, EVENTS YOU DONE, FITNESS ROUTINES YOU HAVE TRIED?
I have always been into sports! Since I was able to walk I’ve had a ball in my hand. My very first word was “ball” claims my parents. I’ve played baseball, football, soccer, hockey, and even some track. But my main sport was always baseball even leading into college. My typical workout routines before CrossFit were just your normal bodybuilding workouts and hypertrophy/muscular endurance training.
BIGGEST CF ACCOMPLISHMENT?
Although I have completed many PR’s for myself, I would have to say my biggest CrossFit accomplishment would be making finals in my first CrossFit competition, and not placing last in finals.
CF GOAL FOR THE FUTURE?
AS far as my goals go for CrossFit, I plan to make regionals with the next few years and hopefully make it to the games.
FAVORITE PAST TIME?
Obviously I’d have to say my two favorite pastimes would be working out and baseball.
FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?
I have to say that with the nutrition plan I’m on, i.e. IIFYM (if it fits your macros), I can honestly say I don’t cheat. It allows me to eat what I want within the parameters of my caloric or more specifically my macronutrient goals.
WHAT WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE WHO IS SCARED TO TRY CROSS FIT?
Advice I would give someone if they are scared of CrossFit is that CrossFit is ‘constantly varied functional movements at high intensity.” Which means it’s prescribed to help you perform everyday functions better in your everyday life and not just for “looking good.”
