HAVE YOU ALWAYS BEEN INTO SPORTS?
IF SO WHAT DID YOU PLAY, EVENTS YOU HAVE DONE, FITNESS ROUTINES YOU HAVE TRIED?
Honestly, I am not the most athletic or coordinated person. I played soccer in high school and was awful! Lol BUT, I ran cross country and track and kept it up after high school. I enjoy running and it provides a good endurance base for me, plus it doesn’t require a ton of coordination! I have always done some type of group fitness, and love it. I need humans around me!
BIGGEST CF ACCOMPLISHMENT?
Added approx 70# to my deadlift, learning all new movements, finishing a workout at Rx
Can’t wait for more!
CF GOAL FOR THE FUTURE?
Strict Pull-ups, Handstand Push-ups, Squat Snatch…. Just to name a few!
Favorite Pastime?
Napping, hanging with my fam, and traveling any and everywhere!
FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?
Mexican Food and COOKIES!
WHAT WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE WHO IS SCARED TO TRY CROSSFIT?
Just try it! You will love it!
I was so intimidated to try CrossFit- and still am at times, but I love it! I surprise myself all the time by what my body is capable of. It is so empowering. The community is awesome too. Everyone is always cheering each other on – no matter the skill level. It is great to be a part of something and feel included. I can’t wait to see what else I am capable of!
