WHAT DID YOU PLAY, EVENTS YOU HAVE DONE, FITNESS ROUTINES YOU HAVE TRIED?
I am pretty competitive in everything – so yes I have always been into sports – at some level.
I played Basketball in HS. I still love the sport. I am also an avid golfer. Something I picked up about 10 years ago. It’s a little like Crossfit to me- always trying to improve ME. I have always tried to have a workout routine. Years ago I tried running and did that for quite a while- but it is a love hate relationship. I love to hate it!
BIGGEST CF ACCOMPLISHMENT?
It happened just recently as I looked back and compared my 2016 Open results against the 2017 Open. I was amazed at the improvement in only 1 year.
CF GOAL FOR THE FUTURE?
I keep saying that I have a goal to get one pull-up. I’ve been saying that for a long time! Dreams die hard.
Favorite Pasttime?
Golfing with my husband. I also love listening to music.
FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?
Tacos – without hesitation.
WHAT WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE WHO IS SCARED TO TRY CROSS FIT?
Ok, although you hear this a lot- believe me when I say if I can do it- anyone can. I am seriously probably the oldest one in the gym. It’s a community of people that genuinely care and want you to succeed. It may seem intimidating at first-but you quickly “ fit” in with the group. I am very fortunate to have met some wonderful people that our paths may have never crossed otherwise. So conquer your fear and give it a try!
